The major functionalities of RMS are as follows:

  1. User Management

    • RMS managing users from Doptor system where Doptor has all the government officials’ users.

    • RMS have user role creation facilities

    • User role from Doptor

    • Multiple role assigning facilities

    • Easy Role switching options for user

    • Editing/Removing user roles

  2. Single Sign-On Login

    • Users have single sign-on login facilities through Doptor

  3. Role based report configuration

    • Report wise role assign facilities available to access specific reports. Here we have four types of roles such as Maker, Checker, Final Checker, Approver designed to complete any reports.

    • Officers with the role Office admin can set report wise roles.

  4. Report Template configuration

    • RMS has two types of report configuration. Single report template configuration and Group report template configuration.

    • Group report is actually combination of multiple single reports.

    • A single report can be finalized to circulate in 4 steps which are template create, Migration, Configure and Circulate. In addition to this template view, edit, editor options available. Report clone, report time extension, report Update and report close features added in the template configuration.

  5. Report Template Bank

    • Report template bank is keeping all those reports which has been circulated by any offices and other office will able to access those reports for their purpose. This feature will help creating redundant report preparation. Any report from report bank can be cloned and able to use for own purpose.

  6. Report Builder

    • RMS has a robust report building tool through that authorized user will able to create any kind of reports according to their need. This builder has various components which will be used to build reports, various built in mathematical formulas available, report data types, row merging, and column merging options are also available.

  7. Time Extension

    • During the report preparation, every report always has a given time frame to provide data from any office to the circulated office regardless of report type such as single or group report. This system has been designed with an automatic or manual time extension request facilities. As a result, in case of automatic time extension provision officers will able to send report even if the given time frame expires and for manual provision, officers have to request for time extension.

  8. District Commissioner (DC) Report

    • RMS has a module to manage and monitor DC conference various decisions regular progresses.

    • Authorized users prepare reports through the report builder; circulate to the DC offices, ministry to collect regular progress.

    • Facilities to generate summary report regardless of ministry, month available.

  9. Report Summary

    • RMS has few report generation facilities such as summary report, consolidated report, average summary report over the data collected through the circulation of reports.

  10. Report Share

    • RMS generated summary report, consolidated report, average summary report can be shared to other officer through e-Nothi.

  11. Dashboard

    • User Role wise interactive dashboard designed.

    • Super admin has a configuration panel to assign dashboard component to other role.

    • Individual users also able to configure own dashboard component.

    • Dynamic searching available in the dashboard

  12. Notification

    • RMS has notification facilities based on report status.

    • New report receive notification

    • Draft report notification

    • Pending report notification

    • Time extension request notification etc.

  13. System Integration

    • RMS has been integrated with few system

    • Doptor system is integrated for SSO and system user, Offices list

    • E-Nothi integrated for the purpose of sharing summary report, consolidated report, average summary report with any other officers.
